Therapists Lois and Gordon immediately found my problem and began a treatment program. For over a year I had suffered from severe pain on the right side of my head. I had been to several physicians and had even been admitted to the hospital for treatment. In a prescribed physical therapy session, the therapist suggested I try Connections. She said my pain was not responding to the physical therapy she was providing and she had seen very positive results from patients who went to Connections. After my first treatment with Lois I actually felt some relief. It had been so long since I had been pain free that I wasn’t sure it was true. But after three sessions the change was significant, and after 5 treatments my pain was gone! Finally, after more than a year of pain, I was pain free. I have never been treated by therapists that are as knowledgeable and well trained as Lois and Gordon."

In the summer of 1993, Connections Massage Therapy was founded and opened on Ingersoll Avenue.

Massage Therapy in general is an effective approach to rehabilitation and pain management. It is one of the oldest, yet simplest forms of therapy. It not only reduces stress, but stimulates blood circulation, assists lymphatic drainage and improves elimination of toxic waste.

A variety of bodywork is effective in providing relief for migraine headaches, arthritis, tendonitis, sciatica, sports injuries, back/neck/shoulder problems, fibromyalgia, to name a few.

Bodywork is very beneficial for children and pregnant women.

Animals such as horses, dogs and cats, are often helped by massage and Bowen Therapy.

Our business provides the following modalities to address chronic problems: reflexology, trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, Bowen Therapy, resistive stretching, and medical massage.

Our mission is to alleviate the pain and stress. We believe in getting to the cause of the symptom rather than just treating the symptom. Our goal is to assist you toward health and wellness.
