"I suffered from bone spurs, and my doctor felt the only solution was to operate. Facing surgery, I took a chance and went to see the therapists at Connections. After just two visits with Connections, my bone spurs were gone! I’ll tell anyone that if you have pain, the folks at Connections will give you relief. I’ve probably sent ten friends there over the years and they all agree that the service at Connections is exceptional."

DEEP TISSUE WORK

Deep tissue work is an umbrella term for bodywork systems that work deeply into the muscles and connective tissue to release chronic aches and pains. Other systems that are known for deep tissue massage are rolfing, soma bodywork, sports massage, among many others.

Deep Tissue work has been found effective in treating chronic pain, muscle adhesions (muscle fibers that stick together creating a knot), whiplash, sciatica, and much more.  It can be either corrective or generally therapeutic.

The client must be relaxed to work deeply.  The pressure starts lightly and progresses to the deepest level the client can tolerate.  This kind of work is not for every one but can be very beneficial.

"Thank you both Gordon and Lois for helping me with my pain. I have been living with it a long time and I am so much better since the two treatments. I have not used pain killers since that time. I will probably have to have more treatment, but that is to be expected. Thank you."
